Magic Moon Manifesting

Today is a new moon. An optimal time to connect with the magical energy of Mother Moon and manifest your heart’s desires.

The energy of a new moon brings with it:

  • Hope
  • Faith Renewal
  • RenewalRebirth
  • Rebirth

Yet it also brings with it a stark reminder to be honest about what you don’t want and what you need to let go of. After all, when you let go of what you don’t need you inadvertently create space. A space that can be filled with something or someone that feels good, whilst being more in alignment with your heart’s true desires.

My New Moon Practices
There are a fair few new moon practices out there. Just tap in ‘New Moon rituals’ into Google and I’m sure you’ll find many a guide or E-book to choose from. Yet, I’m going to share with you the rituals and practices that I will be using on the new moon. Practices and rituals that I’ve been using, as well as tweaking for years. So, if you’re ready, let’s do some new moon manifesting together.

F*** You Letter
Sometimes the moon energy can leave you feeling sad, angry or emotional. If that’s the case then I find it helps to get those feelings out and onto paper. You can do this in your journal or as a ‘F*** You Letter’. The key is to not hold back or think about what you are writing. Allow the feelings to rise to the surface, really sit with them and let them out. Within this you may get some clarity or ‘a-ha’ moments that makes you realise what you need to truly address or let go of in order to manifest your desires into reality.
After writing the letter I will either burn it or shred it. Why? Because it’s old energy that you want to let go of. You don’t want to hold onto that energy, so by burning or shredding it you’re symbolically letting it go.

Clear Your Space
This is optional, yet I sometimes feel that when I’ve been in environments or around people with heavy, dark energy I have to clear the vibes. After all, you don’t want to carry the heavy energy into your new moon cycle and manifestations.

There are many ways to do this, including prayer, visualisation, Reiki, Himalayan salt bath or smudging. Although I often use a combination of these my preferred method is smudging with Sage or Palo Santo.

Intentions and desires
Now it is time to consider what it is that you want to attract into your life. At this point I find that the clearer you are the better. If you are vague with your intentions and desires, then vague is what you’ll attract. The method that I will be using tonight to set my own desires will be to write them out in my journal as a letter to God (substitute for the Universe, Angels or whoever you believe in), doing so as if they have already been received. For example, Thank you for my new relationship with the man of my dreams. He is (insert the qualities that you are looking for). I feel (insert how you will feel when you receive this/in the relationship, eg: loved, contented, expansive).

The idea with this is to really connect to the feeling of this dream of yours being your current reality. So, you may want to spend some time visualising it all or dedicate time to reading over your letter in the coming days. How often you do so is entirely up to you, so do whatever feels right for you.

Finally, it’s important to take time to rest and invest in some self-care at this time. I sometimes feel that the energy can be a little intense or overwhelming, especially when you are on the cusp of making big changes in your life. Therefore, be gentle on yourself and be honest with yourself about how you feel, as well as what you need in the moment. Ultimately, believe that anything is possible and you are worthy of your dreams.

Happy New Moon and God Bless.

Resistance before the breakthrough

Now, as we move out of this month I’m finding that many of the people that I’ve been speaking to, including myself, are feeling a big push to let go. So, as we leave one moon cycle it’s the perfect time to do exactly that.

The feeling at the moment is that it’s time to let something go or to push yourself out of your comfort zone. This requires both faith and courage. However, it can also mean that you find yourself coming up against your own resistance.

This resistance might take the form of: Self sabotage, fear of the unknown, a sense of unworthiness or, in my case, being floored by a cold. How it shows up for you is personal to your journey and your soul lesson.

Now when you come up against this resistance you have a choice:

You can surrender it and move through it

You can revert to old ways eg: running away or sabotage

Having chosen the latter many times I know that that shit doesn’t work. Instead, you end up resisting the same issue in another place and at another time. And who’s got time for that?

So, what can you do to support yourself with moving through the resistance, start letting go and enjoying experiencing life’s pleasures?

Get aware of what resistance looks like in your life. What do you do when your resisting? Where does it resonate in your body? Then when you feel the pains of resistance do the total opposite. If you’re someone who gets sick, like me, then you’ve got to make time for yourself. Time to rest and calibrate. Do the exact opposite of what you would be in resistance mode. This is likely to feel counter-intuitive and that’s good.

Because what you actually want to do is feel that very feeling that you’re resisting (love, peace, happiness) and experience the very thing that you’re running from (success, new business/career or love relationship). So, rather than run from it, lean into it and celebrate wherever it happens to occur in your life. This may involve you having to reconnect with the original dream or vision that you had when you set out on this path. In your minds eye making it bigger and brighter than your current resistance vision. How you do this is up to you?  Visualisation. Vision boarding. Writing. Hypnosis. Do whatever works for and resonates with you.

Ultimately, the resistance that you experience is never going to go away because it always precedes a big dream. Therefore, so long as your dreaming and envisioning a bright future you’ll always encounter resistance. Therefore, it’s vital to learn how to move through it with ease and grace. As oppose to running away from it or covering it up with meditations, crystals or mantras. None of this will have any holding power unless you are honest with yourself about what you are resisting and how this resistance shows up in your life.

Resistance is your call to let go of what’s not serving you. A call to get real and honest with yourself about the ways in which you are holding yourself back. It’s your chance to break out of your comfort zone and experience that dream/vision that lies on the other side.

Later on Instagram I am sharing a Resistance Meditation. It will help you to identify where resistance lies in your body, so that you can use this to identify the chakra or area of your life that you need to work on right now.

Manifesting with the New Moon and Crystals

Time to get your wishes out there!

Tomorrow night will bring a New Moon in Leo, one of the proud fire signs of the zodiac. New Moons are considered to be the perfect time to set new intentions for the weeks and months ahead. But how do you prep for setting new moon intentions and what exactly does this involve? Sit back and let me reveal all.

A little background
Traditionally, New Moons have been seen as the prime time to set new intentions. You’ll even find that Farmer’s Almanac even refers to the New Moon phase as being “fertile and wet”. Therefore it’s the perfect time for planting seeds for new crop.

Therefore, at the new moon many will put their wishes out there, start new projects or plant the seeds for new projects or ways of being. It’s a time of renewal, new beginnings and for some a bit of a rebirth. This idea of rebirth may be poignant for those of you are starting to step out of your own way and shadow. With the Leo New Moon being a perfect time to step into the spotlight, putting your gifts and talents to great use, as well as out there into the big world.

Prepping for the New Moon
In the hours before the new moon it’s a good idea to get crystal clear about your soul intentions. Use this time to go within through meditation, journaling or by having a quick reading. Ask yourself:

What do I want to focus on?
What do I want to manifest?
How do I want to feel?
How do I want to show up in world?
What energy do I want to embody?

Use this as a guide for connecting with yourself but also writing your intentions. Go over last months intentions and have a mini review. Are there any that you can ditch because they manifested or no longer resonate? Are there any that are yet to manifest? If so, maybe there are aspects of yourself or life that you need to work on in order to boost the energy behind that intention/wish.

Take the time to choose your crystals/crystal jewellery and have them ready for the New Moon. Personally, I like to clear their energy before the New Moon so that I’m ready to set intentions on the night is New Moon. Use your Crystals for Beginners guide to help you to clear the energy of your crystals.

Setting New Moon intentions
Now I suggest you set aside some time to do this and really get into it. The more energy you put in, the more you’ll get out of it. Add relaxing music and candles if you want to in order to create the right vibe and atmosphere, as well as relax you.

1. Write your intentions down in a notebook. Stick the date at the top, the time and the title New Moon intentions. This way you can refer back to it more easily. Number each intention and really feel into each one as you write it, imagining what life will be like once it manifests.

2. Take time to revisit each one and hold your crystal/bracelet in your hand as you say your intention aloud. At this stage you may even want to frame the intention into a positive affirmation. Either way, the intention behind this is to infuse your crystal/bracelet with your intention. In terms of the bracelet the crystals will amplify and hold the energy, whereas the charm will capture the intention and act as a daily reminder of what you are working towards manifesting into reality.

3. Release the intentions to God, the Angels or whoever you are working with. This can be done by saying it writing a statement such as:

“I release these intentions to you for manifesting for the highest good this month or in Divine timing. It is either this or something better.”

Feel free to choose your own. It’s important that it all comes from the heart and resonates with you completely. Let go and continue with your evening or continue to meditate. The choice is yours!

Manifesting is all about energy and, in truth, we are manifesting in every moment of our day. However, life happens and we may have down says that impact on our vibe and slows the manifesting process down. This happens but know that you can pick yourself up and try again later. Also, don’t be discouraged if you have the same dreams and intentions on your list for a while. I know it can get disheartening but the fact is that some dreams can take a little longer to become your reality. Patience, perseverance and faith will stand you in good stead here. Don’t give up.

I’d love to hear your manifestation stories, tips and comments, so post them below or send a private message.
